Welcome to Astudio Learning. These Terms of Service govern your use of our website and our IELTS preparation services. By accessing or using www.astudiolearning.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please refrain from using our services.
These terms form a legally binding agreement between you and Astudio Learning. Please read them carefully. Your continued use of our services signifies your acceptance of these terms.
Astudio Learning reserves the right to modify or update these Terms without prior notice. It is your responsibility to review them periodically. Your continued use of our services after any changes implies acceptance of the revised terms.

Services Offered
Astudio Learning provides online live IELTS preparation classes delivered in 45-minute sessions. We focus on helping learners improve in all areas of the IELTS test: Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking.
Course offerings and schedules are subject to change at our discretion based on learner needs, availability, and improvements to the service.
Eligibility
Our services are intended for users who are legally able to enter into contracts. Individuals under the age of 18 must have parental or legal guardian consent to use our services.
It is the user’s responsibility to ensure our services are suitable for their goals and needs.
Payment and Fees
Pricing & Payment: Course fees are listed on our website and may change at any time. Payments are processed securely via Stripe. It is your responsibility to ensure payment details are accurate and current.
Refunds & Cancellations: A 50% refund is available if cancellation is requested at least 14 working days before the course start date. No refunds will be issued after this period. Cancellation requests must be sent to hello@astudiolearning.com.
Course Enrolment and Class Access

Registration must be completed with accurate information. Inaccurate or misleading information may result in suspension or termination.

Access to the classroom is permitted only after a completed English placement test

Enrolment is subject to availability. Class times may be changed based on instructor availability or operational needs.

Students may be reassigned to a different course group to better suit their schedule, proficiency level, or other logistical considerations.

Access to class materials ends with the conclusion of the course.
Class Times and Attendance

Classes are delivered in 45-minute sessions via an online classroom.

We reserve the right to alter scheduled class times with prior notice.

Attendance may be required to achieve satisfactory course progression. Failure to attend may affect your learning outcome and eligibility for support.
Course Expiration

The course will end after the final class has been delivered.

Recordings and learning materials will remain accessible until the end of the course.
Intellectual Property
All class materials, including but not limited to slides, documents, videos, and recordings, are the intellectual property of Astudio Learning, its instructors, affiliates, and representatives.
Materials may not be copied, shared, distributed, or used outside the course environment without explicit written consent.
Limitation of Liability
Astudio Learning makes no guarantees of specific IELTS scores or exam outcomes. Results depend on individual effort and external factors. We are not responsible for:

Third-party service failures (e.g., payment processors)
Force Majeure
Astudio Learning is not liable for service interruptions due to causes beyond our control, such as natural disasters, pandemics, system failures, or government restrictions.
User Conduct
All students will receive a copy of the Code of Conduct for Students (the Code) prior to their first class. It is expected the Code is read and fully understood prior to commencing your course. In summary:

All students must maintain respectful behaviour during classes.

Disruptive or abusive behaviour may result in termination without refund.

Plagiarism or cheating in practice assessments will not be tolerated.
You are encouraged to contact your Student Success Advisor if you have any questions, need help or clarity in understanding the expectations of you outlined in the Code.
Dispute Resolution and Governing Law
Disputes will first be attempted to be resolved informally. If unresolved, they will be submitted to arbitration or mediation in accordance with local laws.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong and the United Kingdom, depending on the user’s location. You agree to submit to the jurisdiction of the relevant courts.
Gift Card Terms and Conditions
The following terms apply to all Astudio Learning Gift Cards:
Use at Point of Purchase
Gift Cards must be redeemed at the time of booking a course. They cannot be applied retrospectively to purchases already completed.
Validity Period
Gift Cards are valid for six (6) months from the date of issue. Once expired, any remaining balance will be forfeited and cannot be used, reclaimed, or refunded.
Payment of Shortfall
If the course price exceeds the value of the Gift Card, the customer must pay the remaining balance to confirm their enrolment.
Non-Exchangeable and Non-Refundable
Gift Cards cannot be exchanged for cash or credit and are non-refundable under any circumstances.
Refunds on Gift Card Purchases
If a course purchased with a Gift Card is cancelled and eligible for a refund under our Refund and Cancellation Policy, the value of the Gift Card will be excluded from any cash refund. Any applicable amount may be reissued as a new Gift Card, subject to the original expiry date.
Transferability
Gift Cards are non-transferable and must be used by the individual to whom they were issued, unless otherwise agreed in writing by Astudio Learning.
Lost or Stolen Gift Cards
Astudio Learning accepts no liability for lost, stolen, or damaged Gift Cards. Replacements will not be issued.
Use Restrictions
Gift Cards may only be used for eligible courses offered directly by Astudio Learning and may not be used for third-party services or add-on materials unless explicitly stated.
Multiple Gift Cards
Customers may combine multiple Gift Cards when booking a course, provided they are used at the time of purchase and the total value does not exceed the course fee.
Fraud Prevention
Astudio Learning reserves the right to cancel any Gift Card found to be fraudulent or used in breach of these terms.
Privacy & Data Handling
By using our services, you consent to your data being collected and shared where necessary for course delivery. This includes sharing relevant details (e.g., name, email) with third-party instructors or service partners solely for course fulfilment.
Data is handled in accordance with applicable laws including UK GDPR and Hong Kong PDPO. For details, see our Privacy Policy.
Termination
Astudio Learning reserves the right to terminate your access to our services for:

No refunds will be provided following termination under these conditions.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated on our website. Your continued use of our services after any change signifies your acceptance of the revised terms.
